I am sitting here waisting time with livejournal at 8:00 am while I wait for the vet to call me. Mom and I took Corwin in to the vet yesturday becaue he has a cold and had been loosing weight. The vet had us all convinced that we needed to get his teeth done and took him into the back room to do some blood work, but came back in and said he had a growth on hi throat which might actually be the real reason he's having trouble eating. So we left him overnight and she is going to call me this morning some time before 10:00 am. Mom is coming over and bringing oatmeal so if it is really bad news (as opposed to just sort of bad news) I wont have to be alone. Didn't feel like talking about it last night, especially because Annie tends to make jokes about my poor kitty and I don't feel up to listening to it since I love him even if he is old. It is not my problem that others can't deal with ageing.

More on life in general, I didn't get my funding for Chapel Hill. My past advisor-to-be was in spain when they had their funding meeting so I basically got skipped over. Go me. Still haven't herd back about if I am off the U of O waitlist or not.

On the plus side, the opening of my show at Newberg Gallery went well. Everyone was a bit weirded out by my artwork or extreemly pleased to see "real art" which was new and creative in Newberg. And there were little chocolate covered cheese-cake bites and good cheese. A few people also picked up my card. The owners/cooks of a new restraunt that is going to open in Newberg, "The Painted Lady", came by and the male half said he might contact me regarding commisionning something. That would be awasome. There is also going to be another gallery/store in town owned by a young Japanese couple and they seemed interested in my stuff. And I got asked where else I showed by some people who had money. So there may yet be hope...

I am goingto be taking a "lead climbing" class on Wednesday evening with Hank for his birthday se we can hopefully do some lead climbing at Smith ROck for his birthday. That would be awasome. We are going the weekend after this in case anyone wants to go climbing and camping. Jason and Rebekah have joined CLub Sport and started learning to Climb, and we bought anniekins some climbing shoes for her birthday so she can start climbing now in order to better impress her boy when he returns. It was fun having people to climb with. I am going to have to try harder though, or people will catch up with me (no, annie, really - it won't take long for you to catch up once you are climbing regularly).

Ugh, there is my spurt of livejournaling for the month I guess. :-) I am lazy and depressed and don't feel like checking spelling and typos so you guys just have to deal with it.
