Holliday Doom and Fun!

The hollidays have only been doomfull in the me eating WAY TOO MUCH good-bad-horrid for me stuff. Otherwise they have been pretty good. I had the family (parents and sca) over for Christmas EVe dinner - something which is starting to seem like tradition since it has happened sincewe moved into this house. I cooked my first goose, and everyone loved it - suze declaired me official mistress of the goose and hank said it was possibly the best meal I had ever cooked - woot!.

Christmas day was much more laid back with present opening, going over to my parents and Hank's aunt's place for a short while, and lots of video games at home on the couch. I got a new cell phone! plus some small items of clothing with $$ tucked into pockets and interiors so I could go pick some more interesting clothes for myself (which I did today!). Othe cool things loot included a vintage sock knitting book from ursule and many home depot gift cards, which will buy us a bunch of 2x4's for house construction. Other cool pressies too, but those are the first that come to mind.

The day after x-mas we had a party and built a HUGE grahm cracker castle of doom! We also ate and drank and played games, and were generally merry. Pictures of the grahm cracker castle will be posted as soon as I get them up on flicker...

Today we went and saw Casino Royale - it rocked! And went shopping. And di some work over at the glass shop/ carraige house. I will be able to blow glass one of these days... right now we are working on finishing the electrical, then getting it hooked up so we can use the big welder and air compressor to finish our other projects (like the glass furnace and my draw bench).
