Darearca likes to nudge her wet nose on Earc's arm at 5am weather it is a work day or not. (He gets up at 5 work days.) This causes a yelp that wakes me up and I've usually gone to bed 2-3 hours before. So I understand the annoying kitten thing. If it isn't Darearca then KaraKat will get right over your ear and purr as loudly as she can to get the lazy human up so she can go outside. Felines!Ugh!
