Free! (sort of)

aelfgifuJust finished my Last Final which went surprisingly well considering it was French. Now I just have to deal with grad school stuff. I am having recommender issues. I finally contacted Michi (who I am meeting tomorrow morning for coffee and grad school talk) only to have one of my other sources of letters of recommendations write and say that she wouldn't be able to write them after all because her daughter had been in a serious car accident and she is now on the east coast without reliable computer access. WHich leaves me one letter short for five grad school applications. So I am desperately trying to hunt down other professors...
On another note we noticed that I can climb 5-8's as well as 5-6's. I get about half way up and get stuck on both. Hmmm. Either it is a stamina issue or I am just have weird heights issues. Sigh. It would be ridicules if five years from now I was climbing half of 5-12's. Maybe I am just meant to be a boulderer. Along those lines I did some urban climbing earlier today where I climbed up onto one of Annie's friend's back porch to help her make a surprise X-mas tree delivery. Very wet and cold, but for a cute cause.
