Made more progress on Gaara costume - mostly have a good start on the sand gourd now. I started doing paper mache and realized that I wasn't going to have nearly enough time to do enough layers. So I have discarded the cheap method and started again with my old fall back, plaster bandages. They are so nice... Of course I am spending WAY to much $$ on this. But Hanksan pointed out that as long as I am willing to ship to Japan I can sell it on Ebay later and hopefully make up the cost. Also spiked my wig... now I am waiting for my new stage makeup to get here since all of my old stuff was really old and dead. I can't shave my eyebrows because work won't let me so I will cover them. Ick. Now I just need to get the gourd finished, paint it, make my leather strappy bit, all that good stuff. And I should really work on my French homework. That would be good too, but not as much fun.
