Jul. 31st, 2006 09:56 amI have to actually get some things done this week. Less putzing about. So I am setting a few goals for myself.
1. Work on chess set of doom and submit entry to the Oregon Museum of Contemporary Crafts Game Show. Due Aug 10th (I think - need to check), Take more pics if needed.
2. Finish a frikkin' painting. Stupid things keep sitting in my studio and not doing themselves.
3. Pick up glass from firehouse and start on goblet bases.
4. Fix pavilion poles
5. Mend black drawstring pants
6. Work on web page - people may be looking to see what the heck I do that is cool enough for the laurel thing and it is obviously not webpage design!
Ok, that is almost one per day, so probabaly already too much on my plate, and there are tons more to add! Meep! We need 40 hour days! But this is a good starting point.I would add that these are goals in addition to things like housework, working on the glass shop at my parents' place, doing lots of soldering. I have been doing lots of soldering, but neglecting the art recently which is bad. Whole point is to make art and start selling it. I think I need a deadline. By the end of August I will have the chess set and four paintings done. There - a deadline! AND I will take pictures and post them on my web site.
