I started out the day with a walk that ended up shorted than planned because it was already getting to frikkin' hot. But I continued to be good, and started sorting through my piles of clothes. I accumulated trhee bags of clothing which I donated to Salvation Army, and I filled a box with clothes. I am labeling the box 145 and not opening it again until I am back down to that weight, damn it. I then went out with mom to Cost Plus and purchased some spherical paaper lanterns of a larger size to practice spinning on umbrellas for my Kingdom Bardic entry. I should have gotten bigger lanterns weeks ago - these are SO much more doable and look way better too. I may yet manage a kick-ass entry. The I went over to the parents' place and dad helped me invest one of my Magyar ornaments that I have been working on. He has more experiance with small-scale jewelry stuff than I (he has his MFA in jewelry) so it was nice to see him work. Usually I am working on more scuptural objects, modernly. I also finished my design for my braid ornaments, which I will be chasing. They will be in a weird design that is a stylised horse with the legs and tail turning into tree of life type limbs. Very cool. Came home, now oplanning a walk and more assault on the closet. Had fun practicing with my umbrella and lantern. Plans for the weekend include lots of casting, the polynesian festival at Uwajimaya, more attack on the garage roof, and more casting and metalwork.
