Sep. 28th, 2006 12:27 amI spent most of today working on the glass studio project as recounted in
medievalglass. Then I came home to a poor in-pain
hanksan, so I made nice dinner and spent too much time watching old x-men cartoons. I thought about cleaning the house some more, but nothing actually happened aside from a little cleaning of the kitchen table. I managed to not go to the gym - go me! ;-P But roofing is hard work. Now that that whole bardic thing is done, and the whole laurel ceremony doom prep is done, I have to figure out what to do since I have no immediate deadlines looming over my head. On the list are: designing some metal goblet stems and actually getting them cast, compleeting the metal parts of some sculptures I have been putting off, taking a small buisness class from the small buisness center at PCC in October, making a bunch of tacky glass pumpkins to sell, getting a start on glass christmas ornaments to sell up at Sixth Street Gallery this winter, finishing some of the paintings I started, finishing
hanksans magyar belt, finding some good hurdy gurdy plans, and making myself some mitten gauntlets. highlight of the day: getting horn blowing lessons from Edwardus Honestus. Now I am thinking about casting a bronze horn - there are some really cool period examples...
