My Finals Doom

It is probably not quite like your finals doom. No, I simply have to sucessfully make beautiful things by Monday. Doom. I chose the absolute worst time to get an awaful head cold (yes, what I thought was my really bad allergies at the wedding last weekend was in fact the beginning of a head cold doom of the blistered nose and can't speak variety). Now I have waisted half my week being sick in bed and have only a few more days to finish creation of the chess table and set of magnificent incredibleness. Somehow I am going to get this doomfull creature done by my Monday night critique if it kills me.
Only to slightly complicate matters, I also have to write a report on an artist, re-write my long french short-story (hehe), and help out at the junior rock climbing competition this weekend. The latter is entierly due to Hank who actually volunteered us. This is a good thing even though I don't know how I am going to swing it, since it is the first time in recent history that Hank has volunteered for a large organised event besides a personal lan party. I am also missing firts thursday even though I actually have some stuff in Sixth Street Gallery in Vancouver.
Oh yeah, the cat. He is doing much better. Lump was just a cist. Unfortunently the blood work they did showed that his kidneys are failing. So he is doing so well because I have to inject his with fluids every other day to makesure he is hydrated and take the pressure off his kidneys. On the plus side, he is getting used to it (as am I) and he looks way healthier. And if Annie includes any lich lord jokes I will kick her ass and post the non-angsty poem she wrote for me as threatened.
