More Cat Trouble
So I woke up this morning to mom calling to tell me that Cory was doing worse. He is really listless, not wanting to eat or move around much. We ended up taking him to the vet and he is going to stay there tonight, and they will try him on a different medicine. But we have pretty much decided that if there isn't some sort of miracle overnight we will have him put down tomorrow. I called and said that I wouldn't be at work tomorrow and I am trying to not be completely miserable but it is really hard. I have gone through this about four times now, but it looks like this is really the end. In some ways the timing is especially bad since our normal vet is out of town until Wednesday, and it feel weird having to make this sort of decision without him around (since he knows Corwin pretty well, he has a more realistic point of view about chances for recovery - even if it is only short-term since he has kidney failure and it has to be the end at some point), but that is the way things go I guess.
