I got a call from the vet today that Corwin passed away during the night. Hank stayed home with me for a little while, and I am probably going to spend the day doing some therapeutic shopping with mom. I am obviously sad, but also relieved that I said goodbye yesterday and didn't actually have to have him put to sleep. It is hitting mom pretty hard too, since Corwin had been living at her house for the last several months (since he got sick while I was in Germany). But at least it is over, and we know that we were making the right decision.
