Drugged Cats!

I had been having issues with Pip expressing his extreme displeasure with sharing the house with another cat and a dog by targeting Hank's clothes for some "special attentions". In response to this, the vet had me put him on ati-depressants. In addition to this, we purchased a little doodad that plugs into the wall like an air freshener and dispenses good cat pheromones. We have had it plugged in for a few days now and both cats are sitting like lumps on the char next to the outlet where it is plugged in, moving only to eat and go to the bathroom. OMG it is weird. It is un-natural. But they are not going to the bathroom on Hanks clothes... Pip isn't even sleeping on the bed anymore - this is obviously not a permanent solution. Or I need another one for the bedroom too.

Date: 2006-06-02 12:35 am (UTC)omg, they rock
Archie would jump on circe who would get so nervous about it she'd get a psychotic episode.
6 weeks with the feliway thing and she's totally mellow and no sitting in a corner screaming peeing herself (she's got issues, my circe...)
less jumping on when I keep it filled but I can go without and it seems ok.
the spray works great to keep them from clawing the sofa too.
all hail the great feliway!
:)
